Auburn Game Thread

I'm amazed that our defense is holding up this well against their run. Not that they're great, but we haven't necessarily been tough against the run the last couple of years. It has to make you wonder if/when they're going to break a long one soon as a shot in the dark.

It wasn't a draw call from them, but it was a terrible playcall that didn't have time to develop.

To be honest, I think they've tied Crompton's hands. I don't think he's going to be checking, and if the first option or so isn't open, then he's going to run it.

He's actually a lot faster than the last couple of qbs we've had, but that's not anything to brag about.

I have listened to the whole game on the radio. And John Wilkerson is the only one with the Vol Network who has even mentioned how many mistakes Crompton is making. Kesling and the rest are making more excuses than Fulmer. The first step of any addiction is DENIAL!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, the CBS announcers have certainly pointed out Crompton's sh*tty performance

These teams are mirror images of each other--each solid (but not great) on defense, and each with a lame offense. Our offense SHOULD be a little better than auburn's--because I think we've got a little more talent/experience--but that is negated by the hallmark Vol bumbling, which of course is why the Vols are trailing in the game.

If they do not trust him enough to check off when facing an all out blitz it is definitely time to change QBs.

I don't think they are allowing Crompton to check out. They are telling him to take off if it's not there.
