It may be that receivers are compounding Crompton's lack of vision and decision-making by not running the right routes, either. The good news is that mathematically, eventually the receiver will run exactly the wrong route and Crompton will make the exact wrong pass that allows them to connect for a touchdown. it's all in the numbers...
