*Auburn Commits PLEASE READ!*

The running game looked decent last game. Defense has been below average, best.

I welcome rebuttal. Please. Rebuttal me.

first off, calm down. i was at the game in athens, against what was supposed to be one of the best defenses in the NCAA (compared to Alabamas), and I watched our guys come back from a BIG lead against a top 5 team, and nearly pull off an upset. on offense:acute: we continue to get better, especially in the run game. we lined up against Georgias D and ran it right down their throats in the second half. They couldn't stop it.

As far as progress goes, Vol fans have to be realistic. As long as we show progress each year, and keep recruiting like we are will be fine. If we handle our business, we will have a much better overall and SEC record than the past few years. Does that qualify as a "rebuttal?"

Give me break. Love it when guys try to sound smart, and end up sounding ignorant. And we're on the same team man. :bash:

Rebuttal me? Lmao!!!! That's a noun homie. Rebut is what you are looking for.

So an AU commit/recruit is going to be safer coming to UT? Really? 1-7 in SEC last year, 0-2 so far this year. Dools named as a hotseat coach in major sports publications pre-season through today. Somebody is denying reality.

Hey.......don't use facts...... "They" hate facts :eek:lol:

you want big time recruits...its simple...all you people get off Dooleys arse and get on Hart to extend his contract....eliminates "hot seat" and the big time recruits will line up....this program is heading in the right direction..just need a little more support from fans and administration...."you build it they will come"...just what Dooley is doing!!!

I've said repeatedly that we did a good job running the ball against Georgia!

Love it when guys try to "rebut" but don't know what they're "rebutting".

We cannot financially afford all their recruits we want, and their recruits reading this website suck anyway..

The OP's point is a good one. Obvious but good. There is no reason every Auburn commit should not be questioning that commitment right now. They are a talented team losing largely because of poor coaching. They definitely had the better players today and stank it up.

Anyone taking bets if it was UT getting beat on today by a pathetic Arkansas team, that the same poster telling AU recruits to reconsider would be saying come to UT because obviously you could see early PT? It's funny how things can change when it's your team.

The fact that you cant see that UT and Auburn are moving in different directions is really sad. Very sad.

AU is having a tough year. To compare Dooley and Chizik is crazy. GC has won in the SEC. He is 31-14. Yes, Cam helped him win a title in his 1 year there. Does Dooley not have a supposed top 5 QB in Bray whose been here for 3 years? Funny how Cam is why Chizik won his title, and Bray is not the reason Dooley looks like a fool. I would not want Chizik as a coach, but he is much better than Dools.

I think it is a bit obvious that Bray and Hunter are a bit overrated. They both have mad upside, all the physical tools, but they have yet to get it between the ears. Hopefully, they will both stay a year to truly get NFL ready.

As bad as Auburn is Dooley can't say anything until he actually wins a decent game. Chizik can always say come to my ring party to us. Or at least have a winning season first.

The problem is Dooley started at UT with very little and is slowly building the program. Chiz won his NC 2 yeats ago and its as if the programs going backwards

Dude, why would you say that? These recruits are definitely reading this and they will go elsewhere because of your comment!

In the midst of everyone playing the same game of grab ass with one another, I leave you with this:

@wshelton2: This is Year 8 for Spurrier in Columbia. Went between 6-6 and 8-5 his first five years. Last three: East title, 11-2, now this. Takes time.

Excellent post. And he had a hall of fame coach to start rebuilding the roster before he got there. Can this post be stickied?
