no problem. too many people think i hate fulmer. i don't. i just think his program here has grown stale. he does have good attributes, it's just some of them have slid. it happens all the time. even today i still feel fulmer is the greatest recruiter in the game right now. i think fulmer did A LOT for this program. but IMO, that doesn't mean we can't move on.

This lets people give a point by point opinion rather than ripping heads off.

i guess maybe it gets accounted for w/ aggressiveness, and adjustments, but i think an overall gamplean strategy opinion should be there as well. i like fulmer's aggressiveness (or lack there of by some people) in that he stays very conservative on fourth down plays and knowing he has a great punter, so he'll line up teams inside the ten instead of attempting a 4th and 1 at the 45. However, I still question the play calling even w/ Cut back. as i've noted before, i questioned Cut's play calling in his 1st stint

I really like CPF, but 5 years ago, his score would have been 85ish.

You think Phil should move along? What direction should we then move? I don't mean a lateral move but an upgrade.

Beating us 10 out of the last 12 freaking years has got to give him a few bonus points. I think he deserves about 3 more seasons unless a total collapse happens, which is unlikely considering your team's overall talent level.

overall: 30

1. his overall winning percentage can't be argued with
2. he deals with off the field discipline problems inconsistently.
3. he fields a team that is usually ready to play, whether or not they are ready to win isn't known.
4. always a fine recruiter, but top 5 recruiting classes mean nothing if the players aren't developed and actually get better
5. his little golf clap after going 3 and out gets old
6. doesn't seem like half time adjustments are ever made, and if they are, they hardly ever work
7. the way he pounded on Cal was never repeated
8. he has to get by UF to have a chance, and it's hard to see that happening any time soon
9. see #8
10. I don't doubt his players respect him to a certain degree.

I meant ANOTHER total collapse. I believe you guys will know after next season. You SHOULD be only a 1 or 2 loss team. If you lose 4 or more with your talent the Big Orange seat might get a little warm.
NOT ALL OF US CAN HAVE NICE NEW SHINY OVERPAID COACHES IN 2007:)
