It's not JG
Its not the O-Line
It's not the D-line
It's not Chaney or any of that other stuff........

It's the team's attitude! Now maybe that is due to some of the things Pruitt has said and put out there in the media. Maybe something internal, but the real reason we are 0-3 in the last three games is the crap attitude of the team when its time for football.

If I could find the quotes from his time at Georgia we could do a good comparison.

But why is it he worked at Bama but not Georgia? Is it because Saban quietly kept him in his place and Richt was a push over?

Well the team usually takes on the attitude of their head coach. In Pruitt's first press conference, he was so fired up he could run through a brick wall i thought. Something changed after that and the chalkboard kick. He's no longer that guy. You don't change your personality to appease people. Screw the PC. Win football games and they won't care if you're a Nick Saban hothead that gives bad interviews and comes off as a azz. They just won't care.

At UGA, Pruitt was allowed to make quite a few changes in order to bring in some of the Bama process. He was allowed to change some of the practice periods, he brought in his buddy to handle S&C and was basically given autonomy in handling the defense. He also created a lot of problems when he started trying to meddle with the O staff.

You are correct that Pruitt worships Saban and would lick his boots but Richt actually hired Pruitt, in part, to shake up his program. It's not the only reason but it was part of the reason why Bobo took the first train out of town. Saban may have also had a hand up handling Pruitt because Pruitt knew his rep had taken a hit.

Pruitt is a very good defensive schemer, he is very aggressive and a good old school motivator but he hasn't proven to be a capable executive type leader. It's very possible that his locker room is divided and I'm not sure he knows how to handle it outside of purging the roster and he really doesn't have the depth to run many folks off.

Thanks for the response.

I think it’ll be better against BYU honestly. I full believe they underestimated GST. They’ll open things up and see what happens. Hopefully it’s good things but if not then life goes on. The idea of a rift or Mutiny doesent make sense to me.

If I’m wrong I’m wrong. I’m not worried

A head coach is a manager. Assistant coaches are mid-managers. Leadership has to come from the roster. There seems to be an absence of leadership with very few exceptions. The managers need to tell the leaders to step it up and then have their backs when they do.

GO BIG ORANGE!

Tone comes from top...in businesses as well as athletic teams. If the kids have quit, get rid of them. As a coach/administration/boss it is absolutely on you to get rid of the bad apples and set a positive tone. At this point, I’d rather play a team full of freshman that care vs a team of talent that would rather be on their XBox.

Actually I don’t.

theres a big difference between saying yea our guys sucked today and we just got beat, we didn’t execute the game plan, etc.

So please show me where he said we suck.

"And I promise you that I will recruit 25 other guys that will play the right way, so we don’t have to play in another game like this." - Pruitt halftime Alabama 10/20/18

It's one thing to keep this in-house. Quite another thing to air this out for the world in the middle of a game. The results since then speak for themselves.

Sounds a lot closer to what I said rather than they sucked.

Along the line of WHEN IT HAPPENED....
Some one of our "insiders" may know have an idea the could help me understand.
Sometime after the Ky. game last year and the "letdown" of the next two, something happened to make what seems to me to be the start of the downward spiral. The start we see this season seems to me to have begun between these two games. Anyone have any ideas or facts???
