2) If you are in line for five minutes, do not wait until you finally get to the register to start looking for your money or writing your check.

3) If you have a coupon and the register is having an issue figuring it out, consider whether the savings is going to be worth the time it takes to fix it. You are saving $20? Fine, get them to honor it. You are saving 73 cents? Get the F out of the way.

4) Do not stand in the center of a crowded aisle pondering a purchase, life, your wasted youth, etc.
