until the team gets good, give student tickets away for free with their card, so they pack the house.

I am betting 85% full. That's around 88,000

Game is on TV and it is after the 2nd loss. The 2nd loss is always a killer like no other.

Also, It's a bit far for enough LSU fans to make the trip to fill Neyland. They also have bigger fish to fry.

The price has nothing to do with why kids aren't showing up. $10 is almost nothing. I would gladly pay the $20 that we had to pay for SEC games when I was a Freshman in 2009.

The $10 charge isn't the reason student tickets aren't selling out. It's the team's suckage. Most current UT students probably don't even know student tickets used to be free.

I am betting you're wrong. It'll be much closer to full. Over 100k, no doubt. IMO

Wtf? What's all this 80-90K talk? The house better be packed and loud! Man, I wish Dooley would coach up the fans to do their part the way Saban does.

It will be close to full, LSU will travel well, the weather will be nice, the time is good, and UT is playing the #1 team in the country. It's going to be a great atmosphere. I'll be there, GO VOLS!

I'm pretty sure if UT had a coach with 2 rings instead of one with 3 losing seasons in 4 years, that wouldn't be necessary.

I think for the most part UT fans still support CDD and if he would stress how important crowd noise can be in disrupting the flow of the game for opposing teams, I think the fans would respond well. Doesn't matter how many rings he has, he's still a pretty good motivator imo.

lsu fans will be everywhere in town. Don't make them mad--when they get really drunk, they are more obnoxious then even alabama or florida fans.

Just wondering how the folks that talked all week on here about how "they were gonna be there no matter what" feel after watching that live. It almost made me sick to watch it on tv. :mf_surrender:

It wasn't actually horrible.. until the start of the 3rd quarter. But then again, i only had to pay $10 for my ticket. I'd probably be pissed if I had shelled out a lot of money.

I think I qualify as one of those guys.... Just got back to Roanoke, and while I am not pleased with the result, every trip to Neyland is worth it!
