Attendance for LSU game

We should all be there supporting the team, lining up for tickets...and keeping the purple people out. How is the team going to learn to keep on if the fans give up?

If anyone on here lives around Columbia, TN, I have a couple of tickets to this game that I would love to get rid of. I have talked with several other people that also have season tickets that live in middle Tn, and the general feeling is that the product on the field is not worth the 7 hours of driving it takes to watch us play every Saturday. The reality is that it's just not fun to watch us lose every meaningful game at home. When you have watched your team lose enough games at home that the losses don't hurt anymore, it's time for a break.

Turn in your fan card now! How do you think the team feels? No it's not fun losing, and watching them lose, but they still have to go out there and play until the last second, and as long as they are "giving their all for Tennesse" we as fans should support them until the game is over no matter the score. Don't give up on them.

Much respect...I just can't bring myself to make the 6 hour treck again after last weekend. (doesn't help we broke down on the way home and were at a truck stop for 4 hours.)

I will be back for South Carolina.

Just go check out the tickets for sale section on this forum. That'll answer your question.

I'll be supporting them. Just not in person. I hate to sound like a jerk but I watch football for enjoyment and to be entertained. I don't go to the games for the players. I don't know any of them personally and don't feel any obligation to spend my time and money to aid in propping up their self esteem. The affect fans actually have on players is minimal. It's been a long time since us season ticket holders have had much to cheer about. I don't think not going to this game should make one's fandom come in to question. In the words of the late Al Davis "just win baby". That's all I care about.

I am coming in from Roanoke for the second week in a row... I did the marathon trip last Saturday. Drove down, watched the game, and drove back in one day (technically I got back around 4 am on Sunday). I prefer to not do back to back weekends, but how can anyone not think it is worth it?!?

Hope you have a great time, San Diego. Flying 2000 miles is being a pretty damn devoted fan.

Thanks brother. I only get to go to one game per year usually. I hope we can pull off the upset, but if not just glad to be back in Neyland watching our boys play. Nothing better. GBO

1000s of student tickets still left. well do well to have 90k in attendance

all games should still be available on a student activity card and not charge a student price per game. in my day, we NEVER missed a game but then again, did not have to buy individual tickets either. we just picked them up using our card and went to have a deli...:)
