I'm taking a friend of mine who has never been to a college football game this week, what kind of fan turnout should we expect after two devastating losses in a row to Georgia and Florida?

I really want him to have a good experience but if everyone else feels the way I did after this past Saturday (I was there) I'm not expecting much. Heck even I don't really want to go, I feel like a battered wife- I keep getting beat down after all the time, money, love and energy spent/invested. After a while you begin to wonder why we do it and is it a mental illness to keep going back? (Please excuse the analogy if anyone has or is suffering from spousal abuse, or mental illness- I only mean it as an analogy and not equated to each other in anyway).

Seeing though I had already booked the tickets and planned this months ago I'd feel worse not taking him, he's super excited about it. I don't want to let him down. (He's actually a huge Philly fan from Philly, a pro football fan, but knows nothing really of college football.)

But what do you guys think the turnout will be? What should I do with him to make his experience the best considering?

In all honesty, probably 75k~ even with this past week's tragedy. Regardless, you cannot go wrong taking someone to Neyland for a game even if there was only 30k :)

Best college stadium for me anyways.

I'll be there with 6 other Vol fans. Honestly I'm thinking anything over 90k will be impressive after the shots to the nuts we've takin the last couple weeks.

Even though every fiber of my being says keep my money in my wallet, I'll be at every home game this year. Damn my Orange blood!

Looks like a rainy day and after recent results, I'll be surprised if there are more than 75K there. Probably will announce 90K though.
