Attendance at Spring Games for all BCS schools

The UGA spring game was played on a cold, wet miserable day. Just the kind of weather I like for the folks in Athens to live with.

Bama fans are just crazy! I think Florda got the pleasure of playing on ESPN so that helped their attendance. I was a little surprised with UGA's attendance too. I was also a little surprised with UT's. With the new offensive system, coaches, QB's and free admission I figured we would be a little higher than we were.

Bama fans are so fn desperate to have a good football team. i picture 78,000 of that drunk chic, Collette.

and for Florida's 61,000 :moon2:

I watched UGA's Spring Game on CSS. They had the worst possible weather for a Spring Game. It was cold and it rained almost the whole game. Probably would have had 10,000 or more without the rain.

I thought we had more than 28,000. Looked like at least 35,000 or so from watching on SportsSouth.

I'm not sure spring game numbers mean a whole lot. At least, the only number that matters to me is 102,037 at our actual games.

I watched the Alabama spring game on tv. I question the numbers of reported fans. The stadium was maybe 2/3 full, imo. Didn't get the best views though. There were definitely empty seats, and folks not densely packed.

Surprised to see uga that low with all the hype they're getting.

Football in Georgia is a social gathering... not a gathering to watch football. I suppose those that did show up are the few true fans of the game/school.

Unfortunately it's true. I was there & there were at least 75,000 people there. The lower deck was pretty much packed & two of the three upper decks had a decent amount of people.

Well, at least I subtract one from the total, since you aren't an Alabama fan. It's a start.

Umm... I guess Nebraska isn't a BCS school anymore, they had around 82,000 for their spring game.

...so does that mean that they can award themselves another championship?

Got thirteen, Sabanation?

I can't wait for Sarah Jessica John Parker Wilson to come to town this year...

My prediction?? PAIN, sucka!!

Where did you get that gator toilet? I would love to take a dump on Florida field everyday.

Agreed... No matter how you put it, it is just a scrimmage. And the fact that Oliasambo (sp?) was the leading rusher last year tells you how important it is.
