Don't pretend that your dislike of hip hop is what BPV is referring to.
Pretend how?

Isn't it clear enough that violence is glorified in Hip Hop when compared to other genres of music.

I haven't heard Kenny Chesney's music promote violence?

Some Hip Hop condones violence, most actually comments on it. It would be the same as saying country music is a product of the racist south so those who enjoy it are racists.

I suppose you have an equal amount of disdain for a large portion of heavy metal because there are similar references to violent acts?

Did these "victims" appear to be upstanding citizens out & about at 2 a.m.? Not making any excuses for the U.T. players (or X-players), just thinking there's more to all this than we've learned to this point. The whole thing smacks of a drug deal gone bad.

this has been my thoughts. Why would highly recognized football players suddenly risk their entire futures unmasked? Did college football players really believe they could just steal someone's money and drive away into the night?
