I've been a member here for awhile but never posted much until now. I just like to read. And if there's one thing I've learned over the last 10 years or so it's that we take "insider" info like the Bible. Even while it is so wrong so many times through so many exhausting coaching searches. It's almost as bad as these conspiracy sites.

Someone somewhere here mentioned something about "prophecy being tricky and vague". That is all you need to know to be an insider.

Insider 101:
1. Stay scant on details
2. Keep everything you say open ended and open for interpretation. Example: This won't be a homerun hire. This allows you to tell your faithful that the eventual hire was bad, or it WAS A GRANDSLAM HIRE!!! No matter how the coaching hire goes you will technically be right.
3. Never reveal your source. Always use words or phrases like "Close friend" or "business acquaintance".
4. Fade away until the next coaching search and hope people have short memories.
