Ugh. Embarrassing. Grizz have to be better if we want to try to run against the Hawks.

It's a long season.. Your gonna have a handful games you play like shizz that was one of those nights.. Wish I didn't hafta work today.. Gonna be a good un Go Grizz

Letdown game after the hype of the Warriors game, on the road, against what I think is the best team in the NBA anyway. Not super-optimistic about this one.

It would be funny if Budenholzer channeled his inner Popvich and rested a couple of starters.

Played out about like I expected. Memphis is the most complete team in the league. And if they're going to be allowed to play that physically and only get called for 11 fouls then they're going to be unstoppable.

Al and Paul both had horrible shooting games. They got their usual good looks; the shots just didn't go in. And yet the Hawks were still right there tied with two minutes to go anyway. I'm not discouraged. This team can play with anybody.

Gotta get home court though.

Only caught the final 2 minutes. Was the foul disparity because the Hawks played soft or were they swallowing the whistle?

They swallowed the whistle. Tony Allen spent the whole game yanking on Kyle Korver's jersey, but didn't get called for his first foul of the game until less than a minute left.

Getting Korver open has been a problem for a couple of weeks now. Other teams are getting more and more brazen about clutching and grabbing him, and I think we can assume it'll only get worse in the playoffs. Budenholzer needs to figure out how to work around it.

Biggest issue last night was just that Horford and Millsap couldn't hit good shots. Hard to win when those two guys score 10 points between them.

Those shots are harder to knock down after rounds of body blows. Playing the grizzlies is a heavyweight fight.

Pretty sure that the body-blow effect doesn't kick in from the first minute of the first quarter. Horford was getting the same open jumpers he always gets. They just didn't go in.

Radio guys mentioned they couldn't imagine us shooting that poorly over the course of a series. Liked our chances in a seven game series.

Memphis is really good but I actually like our chances better than I did before seeing yesterday's game. Tie game on the road with two minutes left after shooting like that? Not bad. Memphis is a bad matchup, but I still think the Hawks could hang with them. Need home court though.

I'd like to believe you, but every fan of every opponent says the same thing. Grizzlies sure are lucky every team misses great shots every game.
