Take Marta!! Saves you a lot of time and money! Get off on the vine city station. Dome will be across the street

If I were coming in from Tennessee, I would get off on Northside Drive, head down to the back side of the Dome, and park in one of the lots on that side. You'll miss most of the traffic that way.

Wood007, Next time just dont open the thread and waste your time commenting. I put parking in the title so I wouldn't get responses like that but thanks anyways.

Thanks for the help from everybody else!

This is what I plan on doing. I have a pass for Orange. You think Northside from 75 to the Dome will be good around 2:00?

Is Marta the fastest way out of town? I will be heading back to AL after the game.

Depends on what you mean by fast, that is a relative term in ATL. While getting out of the city is usually better at night than getting into the city, with everything going on this weekend Marta is probably the best bet.

Park at the Perimeter Circle Mall (North side of I285). Take Marta to the GA Dome. Keeps you away from the worst of the traffic and there's plenty of free parking.

Do you have to buy the parking online before you get there or can you pay with cash when you get there?

Park in the gravel parking lot across from the World Congress Center; there are plenty of homeless guys to help you change a flat after the game. Trust me I know, (97 SEC champ. game).

Does Atl not have soliciting laws?

Does anyone know when they open the Georgia Dome doors? I saw on their website that it's 5 hours before game time for Falcons games. I was wondering if that holds true for tomorrow.

I take the Marta everytime I come here.....In fact I'm sitting in the Dome right now with my cousin and his friend at the Georgia State vs. South Carolina State game. It's dead in here can't wait for tomorrow night.

We paid $20 for the yellow lot. Considered MARTA but decided against it because we want to tailgate. Too hard to do that riding in on the train.

Still trying to figure out if I want to do the MARTA deal or just pay the extra $8, and take a little longer and park in the lot.
