Les should be three, Mullen is right at four, don't know who should be ahead when it comes to Bielema and Jones.

Butch is definitely a top 25 coach IMO. Tom Herman, Cut, and Richt at 14-16 not sure about..... Especially Herman. Only 1 season to go off of in a relatively weak conference.

I would rank Butch higher than Mullen if only because there seems to be something shady going on with MS State recruiting since he took over. Butch and his staff have been clean since his arrival.

you could argue the he's too low because of what he's been able to do at MSU.

it's starkville. and he wins.

I honestly have no idea what method they are using. If your past counts, then Les Miles should be higher. If it's just who you beat last year, then Ole Miss beating Alabama would count for more.

Seems like the same thing we all do, just use opinions.

Shouldn't Derek Mason be ahead of Mark Stoops considering he beat him?

Odom is last because he's new. I wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be a pretty good coach. He was under Pinkel for his whole career, and Pinkel was GOOD football coach, a Don James guy.

Mullen has never brought in strong classes at State. 2014 was a season, when everything fell into place with a talented junior QB and a two-deep with mostly seniors and a few juniors.

Odom was under pinkel for one year or so. Before that he was the DC at Memphis under J. Fuente.

Odom jumped from being a H.S. coach to Missouri and was under Pinkel from 2003 to 2011 in various roles. He also played at Mizzou (pre Pinkel). He returned to Mizzou last season.

But, yes he was at Memphis a few years.

Don't recall too many recruiting shenanigans at Miss St....thought it was mainly OleMiss recruiting that stinks to high heaven.

Wrong Mississippi team. Mullen has accomplished more with less. If Butch wins the SEC this year he will be ahead of Mullen

All of you will disagree I'm sure but I think Les and Gus are to low.

No, I think you're right.

I think you take the two before Butch and the two after Butch, and just flip them. Les and Malzahn up, Bielemic and Mullen down. Leave Butch right where he is.

Then it makes more sense to me.

p.s. Malzahn could seriously fall into the deep end of the list if he has another year like the last.
