Georgia at 46. And people in here are worried about playing them? If their DL really is that bad, we'll dominate that football game.

I just saw that too - There is no way they should be that low.

I wouldn't think so either with Carter and Bellamy and Thompson. However, I'm not familiar with the rest of their personnel/depth. But they better not be what this list says they are or they're getting rolled by Dobbs-Hurd-AK. If you're gonna have a chance to deal with Tennessee's offense this year, you better have a great, top 10-15 defensive front 7, and specifically some stud d-linemen.

If Tennessee can stay healthy at tackle then this is a top 5 unit all day long. No other team in the country has as much talent and depth at defensive end.

Most folks can't name two or more defensive lineman of a team they don't follow. That's not a measuring stick.

People who follow the game of football seriously can. I know Alabama's 2-deep on the d-line. I can name the starters for LSU, Florida, Clemson, etc.

Georgia really only has 2 noteworthy defensive lineman. Trenton Thompson and Jonathan Ledbetter. Everyone else is freshmen or nobodies.

There's a reason Kirby Smart expressed concern about the d-line. Its a very weak position on their team.

I think our roster is better than theirs all the way around. They have more "star" rankings but they've had so much talent the younger guys haven't had a chance to play, meaning that while not quite as highly touted, we are more expierenced. And as far as character...I wouldn't trade this group of kids for any in the country. Jrm, sutton, dobbs ect. Highly motivated and intelligent, hard working kids.
The real advantage bama (and some other have) is coaches that have been in huge, champion caliber games and won. My biggest question going into the year revolves around Butch he's proven to amazing at recruiting and developing players. So far though he hasn't proven to be lose and aggressive at the biggest possible moments in the biggest possible games. This is his year to overcome that stigma.

I think if they take in to consideration a healthy tuttle we have a top 5 DL all day long. If they are basing it on last season that's the only thing I can think of that is keeping us out of the top 5.

If he had stayed healthy all season it seems very, very likely to have pushed the expectations of this season's line higher.

Well said. I'm certainly not overly familiar with Georgia's defensive personnel, yet I named 3 of their DLs off the top of my head...DEs Lorenzo Carter, Davin Bellamy and the DT Thompson. Therefore, D4H's attempted point falls short on 2 fronts.
