At what point do you look at Sumlin or Miles?

I refuse to believe Currie would actually hire Dave Doeren. He shied away from Schiano because of media/fan backlash well let me tell you on twitter right now, there is some HUGE backlash against Dave Doeren. Nobody wants him at UT.

This should be the list. Fans would embrace all of these guys:

Sumlin - Great Hire
Tee Martin - Great Hire
Lane Kiffin - Great Hire
Les Miles - Decent hire

Lol dude, Les was making 4.3 at LSU. You offer him the same to come here. No need to dump 6 on him. As for staff you give him whatever he thinks is necessary.

None of those are great hire.... Les could be a decent hire, if and only if its a situation where good OC/DC are hired and there is a plan to have him out in a few years.

Get Sumlin's agent on the phone and give some numbers to him. We are getting to the point of despair. This is not a good feeling. I can even understand all the backlash and anger, because after 10 years, fans are fed up with mediocrity. We had the opportunity to make a great hire. Petersen, Sumlin, Fisher, Frost haven't even been contacted and we'd kill the last white rhino for one of those coaches right now. This is depressing.
