If it comes sooner than later, if he never wins a big game, if he never learns from his coaching blunders...

He's a VFL in my book. This guy has put his heart and soul into the program and done some great things. At the end of the day.WINNING is what matters (DUH!) but just because he may not get it done doesn't mean we should have some responses I've seen or heard. Anyone who gives it their.all for UT has my respect.
That's why I want Butch to succeed here so badly! And I.understand that 10 years of frustration is behind all this, (even I want to stop caring.so much anymore) I just wish it wasn't :'(

Also, I think I see the coaches willingness to change, from the OU game to Florida, to talking about getting the ball to the WRs more next week. Good to hear, lets hope it translates to a win!

@Guarantano18: Great talk with Coach Butch ! Excited for the future 🔶🔶🔶 #GBO

I agree dude has done more than the two coaches before him by a landslide. I feel if Butch doesn't get it done here and whoever gets the job after him does cbj wouldnt get the credit he deserves.

Probably has to go 6-2 and be competitive with Bama and Georgia (which seems like it happens every year) for him to be on some people hot seat!

Still 8 games left. A lot can happen in the SEC.

O definitely I'm not saying its over at all!

Just saying it doesn't matter what happens from here on out... he's kinda like Worley to me. Warrior who wasn't that great, showed greatness at times, but will always be a VFL and to him I :hi:

I agree, whatever his fate is at UT, dude is giving his all for Tennessee and seems to be doing it the right way. Win or lose, he will still be a VFL in the end.

Johnny got it, and so did Phil. Then we had two coaches who didn't get it.

It's nice to at least be able to say

Butch Gets It!

I'm not buying it, Butch makes 3.5 million yr and if he leaves in the next year or 2 or 3 he won't be anymore a VFL than anyone else.....He's a Salesman!

Just win some ball games and all is cured. No more excuses Butch. You have a team that basically beat two powerhouses for three quarters then YOU lost the games. Its obvious to everyone that UT has arrived from a talent standpoint. Its also obvious that this staff does not know what to do with SEC talent at this point. Just win, throw the charts in the trash, and win the next game.

Im not jumping off the ship. Prior to the season starting, I was one of the few who thought we were still a year away.

Well put. I think he is gonna right the ship, and learn from these losses. I sure hope so. So far he has made a huge difference in recruits and expectations. Although, I have had high expectations for as long as I can remember. I do feel wins are coming, and look foward to the Bama game, that is the true test at this point, AR and GA games are no win situations, we could beat both by blow outs then lose to Bama and Volnation would still say he should be fired( like it or not both AR and GA are quality opponents and both games are toss ups). It really don't matter how we lose, it's just unacceptable to lose for any reason to any team, at this point records are throw out and it's all about the W. I really want him to get the wins, make the playoffs, and win some National Championships, build a Dynasty, and then retire as an old man. If he is not up to the task, he has started the process.
Go Butch Jones! Go Vols! Beat the Hogs!

I want Butch to succeed in the worst way, he's just not going too, and that is a sad fact.

dumb comment. its not a fact at all. all you guys that believe this need to open your eyes at whats going on around here. yea they were a couple tough loses but i think you need to understand what it takes to build a winning program. closest weve been to it in years.
