Well, money talks. At UT-it talks volumes. It's the usual dumb plan of some wannabe smart kid who decides to collect $1 from a million people so he would have a million dollars. We can do the same. We collect $1 from a million UT Faithful. Then, we deposit the money into a bank, then write a check with no date made out to the university, photocopy it and e-mail a copy of it to Mike Hamilton and tell him this is a donation to the VASF and the only stipulation is he fire Fulmer. Then we wait.
OK........maybe a dumb idea, but its better than coming in here and complaining about it to ourselves and others that can't do anything about it.

Yeah, that truly is classless. I know we all don't approve of what Phil has done lately. But doing something like that would be a true lack of class for somebody who was a great coach at one time and led us to a national championship. I really hope we have a coaching change soon, but I hope Phil steps down with some grace.

I think that it is time for Phil to go, but let's do it with some class...He is also a former player, alum and Tennessee native so let's handle this appropriately....He loves the Vols as much as any of us so let's hope he will retire at the end of the season....:eek:k:

Like Fulmer really gives a damn if you wear a bag on your head. Leave the bag at home...you're only going to bring negative attention to the university by dong that. He lost by 24 to Bama, and 39 to Florida...there's no need for a paper bag - Fulmer's gone.

visiting prospects will get a good impression from this I'm sure. Not to mention you will prob be the only fan in the stands with a paper bag on your head. Make that statement.

That's classless. As is the chanting at the game. You go to the games to support the team. We aren't Arkansas.

You know in hindsight I made about the stupidest post that I have read on this board. You all are right. Wouldnt show well to our recruits. Im just sick and tired of being sick and tired. Been a long time since I was Fired UP about the games. Seems to be a same ole same ole situation. Yes Fulmer was great at one time, Yes he deserves to be dealt with class. But COME ON....

Had a coaching friend of mine call me yesterday. Several weeks ago we had the Fulmer needs to step down convo. He is a Die Hard Fulmerite. Called me yesterday day and said you know what I am with you know. We are pitiful. I would love to see the team totally turn around and just dominate the rest of Fulmers tenure. TN should be a top 15 team every year, Im sorry but its gone on so long that Rebuilding is not even an excuse.

Another question besides Ainge who is the next QB to take over for next year?

Fulmer deserves more respect then that, though the team is playing terrible at the moment.

I sat in the same section as the two jackasses that did it in 05, and I didn't do anything, or say anything. I promised myself I would NEVER do that again. I mean it. If I see someone with a F'ing paper bag at the game, I will crawl so far up thier ass, they will think they bent over at an Alabama family reunion.

For what it's worth, when they announce the starting line-ups at the game, and they say the Vols are coached by Phillip Fulmer, I expect what we hear every week....applause and yells of support.
