Ty is going to the NFL. 7 Million doesn't even touch a fully guaranteed first round contract. The 32nd overall(last pick of the draft) pick last year signed a fully guaranteed 14.7 million deal. The money will be even higher this year as it goes up each year with the salary cap and Ty likely goes a good deal higher than 32. The 16th overall pick got 19.3 million, #1 overall got 48.7.

$7 million doesn't even cover the signing bonus...

The AD, the university president and the governor will be on the hot seat if Kiffin faceplants next season. They made him happen at LSU and would be much cheaper to send packing. Kiffin is in the catbird seat for at least a couple of years
