I hope, and think, either GMac or FB will flourish in this offense. Surround them with enough talent and the sky is the limit. Even without the experience from them.

Exactly. Who were Hendon Hooker and Joe Milton before Heup? They lost their starting roles and transferred, just to have Heup turn them around.

G-Mac and Brandon are the way.

If Lane was a cat and had nine lives he would have already sold all nine souls. He is as soulless as a person as it gets. Because Lane is Lane and is probably never going to change I think this speaks more about Leavitt than anything. If he’s willing to go there after what Lane did to him while on his official visit that’s not the person I want in our program. Leavitt had other options just as good as LSU so to go back to Lane now shows low character on Leavitt’s part. Just my 2 cents.

For those who haven't been keeping up like the sickos (me):

While on his visit to LSU--literally, sitting next to Kiffin at a basketball game on campus--Demond Williams from Washington entered the portal, with the understanding that he would go to LSU. Leavitt left the game before it was over, and his visit was over. Those are the facts of the events as they happened. There is a lot more color and conjecture that is not confirmed, but those events took place.

So imagine being on a date with someone and then they get a text that another person is on the way, so now your date is over.

And then later that person asks you to go out again because that other person didn't work out.

And then saying "Ok."

What about if I just hope that he doesn’t fully recover from the current injury? That’s not technically my fault. Just kidding. But I do hope that he goes 5-7 and gets caught fishing without a license. In La, game warden entanglement may be worse than the injury.

Leavitt was on his visit to LSU, sitting right beside Kiffin at a women's basketball game, when news broke that Demond Williams (starting QB at Washington) was entering the portal.

Minutes later word started to spread on social media that it was Kiffin that had convinced Williams to enter the portal despite signing a binding contract with Washington and the Big 10 just days earlier. LSU was immediately implied as the future landing spot.

This rubbed Leavitt and his family the wrong way as you can imagine and they left the visit on bad terms. There are other rumblings about a dinner that got really nasty with Leavitt's mother as well but that's more internet rumor at this point.

Basically, Kiffin was lying to and playing multiple parties which has clearly been shown to be a skill of his throughout his career.

$6 million/year buys a lot of forgiveness, and that doesn't even strike me as a huge deal. It's business.

he's a good player but i'd love someone who is properly licensed while fishing personally
