From my view it seems if he hasnt gotten out of the contract yet he isnt going to.

From what I have gathered his contract prevents him from being released to other NFL teams. I wouldn't give up just yet. He has family here I believe as well.

The good thing is we can afford to wait on this hire. I dont think it has very much relevance if any in recruiting.

Need to finish with some more quality hires and we'll have bypassed the turmoil & armageddon talk. :bash: Hopefully the Myans are wrong about the world coming to an end this year cause the future is bright for the Big Orange!

I am not sure why San Diego is hesitant to release him if he is moving on to a college position. Why retain a coach who doesn't want to be there?

I haven't exactly seem a whole lot of things out of the Chargers front office that make a whole lot of sense. Methinks par for the course...

Actually I think its Tampa. I heard someone from the Knoxville media on The Zone last week saying this would put him closer to his family.

Something is wrong with that math. Six position to fill. Check. Graham, Sunseri, and Pittman hired. Check. "Including the defensive line coaching position Tennessee has two other positions to hire"... I count five there. :dunno:

Tight ends and one other defensive coach.
