Listened to the Swain Event and he brought up some good points regarding the coaching scenario. The Assistants closest to Pruitt, watch what they do. It will be a good indication of what the writing on the wall actually says. Not only that but there are some coaching contracts ending soon. If we keep Pruitt or not, we are paying their buyouts. The people calling the shots on this coaching scenario have another dilemma to tackle.

1. Pruitt stays and we hire or extend contracts of current coaches. Which means once the new coach comes in (Likely next year) we have even more money to dish out for their buyouts.

2. We rip the band aid off now and start fresh.

The money argument to wait to fire Pruitt doesn't go away at the end of next year... it's still there. Who are the coaches with contracts ending soon?

Atlanta Vol posted that Fulmer is currently working on extensions for the guys with expiring contracts. Friend is one of those guys.

Of course Friend is, this clown should have never been hired. Keeping Friend should be enough to fire Pruitt. Keeping Pruitt past this year only hurts Tenn. but I expect nothing less from UT

If rehire Friend it’s time to clean out the whole damn staff coach and AD. The Offense of line his under performed ever since he’s been here. You have five stars across-the-board in that position and he can’t get it out of them it’s no one’s fault but his own.
