i only played assassin's creed 1 and 2, not the two others...so im not completely caught up with the story, but i've got two of the bad guys left to kill and honestly i haven't been that impressed

the whole time when conner is a kid is a huge waste of time and almost made me put the game down...was just said a few posts ago: doesn't seem to have that ac feel like the other two, dunno what it is can't quite put my finger on it

i will say the naval battles are awesome, and the intertwined american revolution story is cool...plus the rope dart is crazy, my personal favorite way to assassinate

Im a fan. I think the backstory with Haytham and when Connor was a kid was enjoyable.

Re-familiarize yourself with the game and introduce new features, I really didn't have an issue with it. GOTY nominee no doubt.

Hold L1 to aim, then hit triangle to shoot. You can also hold triangle and move the left stick toward the enemy.

If you go to the general store you can buy a map with the location of all trinkets.

Trinkets also appear on your map if you synchronize several viewpoints in an area.

I apologize, I should gave more info. I already have most of everything done, it shows up on my map and all. The trinket is located on the very top of the frontier map.
I went to it, but its like a canyon that I cant figure out how to climb down to.

I havent ran across that one yet, Im only 30% of the way through the story.

If its the trinket Im thinking about its the one at the very top of the frontier. There is actually a cave entrance that leads to a tunnel containing the trinket to the west of where you are currently climbing. Just climb around the rocks to the west for a few minutes and you should find it.

The Zombie Paul Revere on the aftermath mission flew me for a loop. Interesting how that tied in as a parallel though.

I don't want to spend $65 on another assassins creed game, but I love the story more than any other franchise. Have they done anything to make the gameplay feel fresh, or is it the same old ass creed?

I assume it's installing and not frozen on a load screen. A little explanation of what is going on would be helpful.

Played the opening sequence last night. This is a really well made game, which is not surprising. I wanted to watch the storyline recap videos on youtube, but they are like a combined 5 hours long.

All I need is the final sequence of each game to get the major recap. I remember all the characters and everything as much as I need to. I just want to the major spoilers retold.

any tips on running away/hiding when the detection level is at 3?

every time I think I'm in the clear some MFing redcoat spots me and I'm battling.
