I live 2 hours from the Swamp:crazy: so I would love to attend the Vols/Gators game. I have never seen the basketball team live, just football games. I know we have like a 20% chance to win but I dont care because they are my team so the thought of an upset is exiting and how cool would it be to be there! If North Carolina came to Knox. and we had almost no chance of winning would you still go?

Chance of winning is irrelevant. If you get the chance to go support the team, you go.

Yes, you have to go if you can get tix. Do you have some? I would imagine a tough one.

No, but I know a high power att. that can get me in the UT locker room who lives in O town. I would be willing to trade for steely dan ticks, but who goes to see them? I truly think I will show up and take a chance on scalper.

Well, better break open the piggy bank plus take all your poker winnings. Its a weekend plus folks want to see the Gators give UT, one of the thorns in last year's side, a pounding. I have no idea what they'll cost you, but I'm thinking going to be a bit.

Yea, are you thinking about goin? It would be fun to even watch a good Gator team, dont ban me for that statement, I will be Vols all the way.

The game at Gainesville is not looking good at all. Slick Rick says the vols are going into a buzz saw that game.

Nah, I went to the LSU football game this past October. That set me back $500 for two tix. I've done my part to keep the Gainesville economy going for a year.

I'm sure they'd love to have some UT dollars, too. So bring lots of 'em. I'll be curious as to what you have to pay. I really have no idea what they go for these days. Back when I was an undergraduate student there during the early to mid 80's, you couldn't give them away.

How quickly you guys forget... in '01 we were, what, 18 point underdogs and hadn't won in the swamp in many many years (30, but don't remember how many trips to the swamp occured over that time span).

I went to that game, and it is a trip I will NEVER forget!! Seeing the disappointed gator mugs walking out, stepping on the roses they brought in anticipation of playing for the national title... absolutely priceless. We might lose, but if we win you'll kick yourself.
