Looks like he's smart enough and has the opportunity to prepare. I'm guessing he's also a motivated individual.
From what I've heard, Nick Reviez has done well, but this could be an opportunity for Askew to contribute significantly this fall.
I still see this fall as preparation for 2010, so I suspect we'll see a lot more Frosh doing things we assumed they were not capable of doing in the CPF era--and that, too, should only be good for recruiting. Elite athletes want to play.
My hope is that we get a smart, talented QB who can join the team in January.
