What is the difference between to, two, and too?
They are similar. All derived from the same word. It just depends what dialect you speak as too which one you favor.
Too is generally used in the north two the Midwest, with more of an Irish Catholic background.
To comes from the mountain folk of East TN, West Carolinas and North GA. Too was two hard to spell, so they shortened it.
Two comes from the Southwest. They were to astupid too understand why we didn't have a u in the word tu, so they added a double-u to spite us.
