I wish all/some of these "restaurant" shows, were closer to "real".

But that wouldn't bring in the ratings.

You ever watch Chopped? I love that show. LOVE it! The judges are pompous and piss me off, but I love watching what the chefs come up with.
 
It's all about the ratings. No doubt. It should be.

But, the best shows with the highest ratings have......

People in the business watching saying.." You're stupid, gtfo, omg bunch of f'ing idiots. And can't stop watching.

Everyone else is saying "WFT. OMG"

Gordon would have shut that restaurant down before a camera crew ever showed up.

Ramsey is too over the top for me. Almost as bad as Irvine, but not quite.

And I do like Worst Chef in America. I'm not a Flay fan, but him and what's her name are funny.

Nigela Lawson is my favorite person to watch cook.

I don't watch TV so I'm gonna have to go with the guy that does this for a living.

Sure. I'll go with your experience. We all have different ways of preparing food but you're lucky enough to pursue your passion as a career.
