Bare. Red made pop corn in new pan and burned it. What do I clean pan with to not scratchthe stainless steel?

Missed this one.

Why did "she" burn it? Forgot about it, or the heat was too high?. My guess is the heat was to high. JFYI, you should never need "high" heat on stove top, especially with SS.

Anyway, next time something like that happens, put a little water in the pan with some baking soda and a little vinegar, bring it to a boil and use a wooden spoon to scrap it.

Whats the best healthy snack to eat after a session at the gym?

I guess it would depend on what you did at the gym and how long you did it.

I'm not a nutritionist (no sarcasm), so I really don't know. As a "snack", I would think mixed nuts or a fruit or Vegetable (banana, apple, carrot, raw broccoli etc) would work.

Maybe ask Tex what he eats as a snack after his Queerfit, I mean Crossfit workout.

:)

Why do all that if you're just going to scrap it?:birgits_giggle:

That's bull right?

Arnold Schwartzeneggar always drank a beer after his workouts.
I like a 24oz Tecate mexican beer and if I have a little hunger, I snack on grilled chicken instead of eating dinner.
The only thing that keeps me from looking like Arnold is the other 12 beers I have after that. :birgits_giggle:

There are only a few restaurants that RV and I will go to and that is after 14 years of trying new places and searching down here. The few gems that we have found do it right. Oh and none of them are chain restaurants. Example. Villa Verde Cafe. Dood is from Napali, Italy and makes his own pasta and bakes his own bread. Fantastic! Our dream vacation is to travel to many locations we have seen on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. We try to find our own little places like those, around here.:salute:

I'm becoming the same way. My dream vacation is to cycle through Italian or French countryside. Stopping every couple of hours to eat great foods & drink wine

Give me Carrabba's over having to clean my own kitchen with that kind of meal any day. I like to make good stuff, but the time spent shopping, prepping, cooking, and cleaning just isn't worth it to me if I can sit down and relax and enjoy (what I considered to be) a really good meal and leave the dishes behind.

Imo, the prepping & cooking is part of the fun. Plus I'm cheap. For the price of a meal at an average restaurant, I can cook something better & drink a bottle of wine. Add in the fact that cooking for a woman is somewhat sexy and i'll cook most of the time.

Finding that when I do want to go out, I usually want cheap food like brick oven pizza, wings or bbq & draft beer.

House Rule #1. If RV cooks it. 2) I devour it. 3)Then I do the dishes and clean up. This rule works in reverse as well. If step three is not followed, VIF never eats well again.

Plus, RV in the kitchen is like a tornado. I am sous cheffing and cleaning as we go. It is well worth the effort.

As of today 95, the cookare is staying. I've got this egg thing figured out. I'm now a badazz omelet cooking mother phaker. 95 will need to apologize if he wants to come to the hot tub party.

Glad you got it figured out. :good!:

All omelets de Slice come with portabella mushrooms. Everything else can be added in.

I'm okay w/ that.

Provolone? :p

Yeah, if I get the luxury of enjoying some jamón ibérico and some chorizo Riojano, I don't want any strong flavors to overpower those, and just a bit of smoky, stringy, cheesy chewiness sounded like the perfect complement to me. I like-a dee provolone. :eek:k:
