Amazing how "wussified" I've become over the years, as far as cold temperatures are concerned.

At 63 degrees and 18-22 mph winds tomorrow, I will have on a stocking cap, sweat shirt with a light coat and gloves. Tourists from the North will be in shorts , tank tops and flip flops at the beach. Probably in the water.:crazy:

I spent my teenage years in Hawaii (Army brat.) We had a dress code at my school, and girls had to wear dresses/ skirts.

One epic morning the thermostat hit 57, and we were petitioning the deans to let us wear slacks, as no one could be expected to be bare-legged in such frigid weather.

ive rarely went to waynesville from Murphy, I usually take 441 up to 76 I think it is that runs into waynesville.

Cooking question for Behr -- my broiler heating element broke on my oven -- until I get around to fixing it -- how do you suggest steak be prepared on stove top ? I used olive oil but it didnt taste that good -- any solutions ?
