Happy New Year Sly.

What part of chicken, how are gonna cook it, are you gonna go shopping first, or use what you already have, what do you already have, haha just kidding on that one....and how simple?

Dust it with Cavenders Greek seasoning and cook it however you want, including microwave.

Fry it with peppered bacon and BBQ sauce with honey.

What I call Chicken Bagna Cauda, easy if you have butter or olive oil, garlic and anchovy paste or filets.

I call it Chicken Ceviche, also easy if you have green onion, cilantro, garlic, lime, orange, vegetable oil.

Standards, McGyver style...piccata, parm, Teriyaki, Marsala or a simple mushroom version, simple version of cordon bleu.

Bounce your ideas you get from my ideas and let's get busy. :)

I
Now I'm starving.

Hman!! Wasabi?

I hate to have anything to do with Lamb. I'll do it, but I don't like it. Same with dealing with live lobsters.

Feeling good I hope, and It's a good thing that you're hungry.

I just deleted that post you just quoted, haha, That wasn't what Sly was looking for and I wasnt thrilled with what I suggested anyway. But, hey thanks for quoting it. :)

Gonna send my daughter to Kroger for some hamburger meat and baking potatoes. Want to fry a simple hamburger steak and bake some potatoes to see how the taste buds react to that. Should I mix anything in with the hamburger meat before frying?

I have some leftover bread crumbs from a meatloaf I made a while back. Or some country Bob's steak sauce. hahahaha

:)

My "thinker" or something ain't working today, it may have to do with my ulcer acting up, I don't know. I couldn't think of anything for simple chicken and now fawkin hamburger meat.

You're taste makes it hard too.:)

I like bacon and blue cheese crumbles. It's really good fried like you're doing. It's like a blue cheese Frico bacon burger and the blue cheese should wake up your taste buds. But I bet you don't like blue cheese.

I don't care for it, but I know a lot of people like to mix dry soup mixes in theirs.

I like diced tomatoes and garlic in mine too. Another one good fried.

Blackening season is good too.

Put a fried egg on top. Fried well or over easy. It's better than it sounds.

Mix in some other type of cheese and some BBQ sauce, keep it off your shirt. :)

I think I'll go with garlic powder and some bbq sauce. Bib ready for duty. For some reason (chemo drugs) cheese doesn't taste right right now.

Sounds good to me.

I can't even imagine how that chemo stuff effects you. Sorry dude, but I would think being hungry is a good thing. Can you drink alcohol while on that stuff? If so, enjoy a nice cold PBR with it, fill your belly and get some rest. If not, just fill your belly, get some rest and not drink with me. :)

Haven't been able to drink alcohol since this chemo crap got started, always feel sick to my stomach. But when I'm done with this treatment and everything is reasonably back to normal it will be a night of Bacardi Gold and A & W cream soda for me. You will be the first I will raise my glass to my friend. So do you think I should forego the bread crumbs in the hamburger?

I don't care for them, I don't even use them in my meatloaf. I like them for frying tho. But, as always, that's just me.

Not telling you to do it, but drizzling the bread crumbs with olive oil and coating the patties with them, then frying them on medium heat would be good.

Whatever you do, enjoy!

Coating the meat with bread crumbs and then frying sounds intriguing but I think I'll wait until my tastebuds are normal to try it. Thanks Behr's daddy!

You know I enjoy thinking about this stuff and then talking about it, but I just sucked today, well more than usual anyway. Gonna go see old sawbones tomorrow.

Cavenders Greek seasoning is definitely a staple spice in my rack. Like salt, pepper, granulated garlic, Cavenders...I use it mostly on seared ahi, but its great on chix, shrimp, and scallops.

I like Fennel by itself on chix too. And with Sauteed green and yellow squash, tomatoes and green onions = Boom!

Not a spice but something simple and really good, marinate it in Italian salad dressing. Only about 30 min. Longer will dry it out. Grill is best but, pan-fry is good too, both with any veggies you have.

Simpler. Salt and pepper, cook and dip in sriracha. :)

Oh, and when I know no one is around, I'll tell you about my "special" creation. Hint: Dr. Pepper.

Just be 1% better tomorrow. It's a process. You can do this, Behr! I believe in you.

:)

Gtfo of my safe space. You and Doyle can stay the fawk out. And leave Butch alone too. Yea, I see what you did there.

Haha, I'll be alright, just got to change my diet I guess.

Appreciate your comment on my car story, I just wanted to say what I've already said before in a different way.

I loved the explanation of the car story today. Lol. You are a wordsmith, my friend.

Haha, I wouldn't say wordsmith, but I tried.

That was a good example of my respect for you. Even when you and I disagree, which is most of the time, you at least understand my points. I hope you feel the same.

But some of the others exhaust my patience. It's like...I got a new truck last week and it's a 60,000 truck. Them...." Bull crap, I saw that same truck at a dealership and the sticker price was 59,999. Get your story right and stop talking out of both sides of your mouth.

:thud:
