A bartender at Outback told me that the way they prepare their onions and mushrooms that can be ordered on the side of your steak are prepared in nothing but soy sauce. Is this true? I thin their onions and mushrooms are to die for, when combined with steak.

His cents of humor ain't what it used to be. I think it's because he's getting older, like us.

Well hello, Volly....

I recommend sriracha as the hot sauce. Sly and I have talked about this recipe before. I do it differently, not saying it's better, just different. I'm sure you'll be satisfied either way, just don't fotget the most important ingredient!

There he is!

Very similar.... Of course nothing you make at home is exactly the same as at the restaurant... Know what I mean.

For all my hot sauce cooking needs, I always go with franks

Actually made these again, this time with sambal oelek...... Much, much better

I know exactly what you mean.

Speaking of Franks, took Buffalo Chicken Dip to husband's family Christmas thing today.

Maybe.

I use just a little butter and water too. Worcestershire sauce (in place of soy)works good too.

What's on the Menu for Xmas dinner tomorrow

I'm cooking for the kids...

Turkey Breast, in Brine right now
Steamed Broccoli
Corn (there 2 favorite vegetables)
Mac and Cheese
Rolls

Then Chocolate Chip Cookies

Simple, but I can pull it off, and they like it all
