I am ashamed to be associated with this VolNation.Negative-is depressing, infecting, discouraging and contagious. Positive-is personel choice. I will not allow many on this VolNation to change my love, hope and passion for Tennessee. I joined here only a few years ago hoping to engage with good, positive encouraging fans, instead many here are whiney, negative, discouraging quitters. I don't want or need you negative, discouraging quitters in my Fox Hole. Every Saturday for as long as I can remember, I want Tennessee to win as much as any player, coach or fan. I was at Mississippi St. last week and until the fourth quarter was over i was wanting and hoping for a win. Our team we cheer for did not quite. I walked out of that stadium, dressed proudly in my Orange & White with the pride of a Real Tennessee Fan knowing I have something they will never have,"Its Great To Be A Tennessee Vol". No matter what happens Saturday, the rest of the year or in the future I will be proud of those young men, Coach Dooley and his staff because they wear Orange & White. Many on here shold be ashamed of yourselves that you have turned your back like cowards on the greatest team to be a fan of, TENNESSEE. Take off your Orange & White, I don't need you in my Fox Hole. GO VOLS BEAT bama

Amen what what. You gotta treat it like a business. Would you continue to let somebody run YOUR business down the crapper, or make a change?

We are with you in like minded but we as a team seem to can't get over that hump & pull out a win against other SEC teams for whatever reason. We have not forsaken our beloved Vols at all...it may look like that to some when we post things on this board. We just want better things to happen for this team like whippin Bama this weekend but face it...it's not going to happen & come Saturday night on here they will need to shut down this board for it will be on Fire for the Fire Dooley Threads.

What are you doing in a fox hole?

Should I apologize for thinking that what happens on Saturday actually matters to the health of the football program?

Why do I have to treat it like a business?

I'm not an employee. I'm a fan. I'm a fan of the University of Tennessee Volunteers. I cheer the football team, the basketball teams, and other teams of this school.

I go to home football games because I live close enough to drive there on Saturdays, and I am fortunate enough to afford season tickets.

I wear orange every Friday, and wear orange nearly every day of the week during football season.

I love the team, I love the school, and I love the orange.

That's what I gotta do.

Is this a good reason to be proud?
The coaches are being well-compensated. The players are getting free educations and many of them are being prepared to be millionaires.

I don’t know what threads I see the most on this site. Threads complaining about the vols, or threads complaining about people that complain about the vols.:unsure:

Hire Gruden.

Op trust me, if we didn't love our Vols we wouldn't be on volnation.

It's America, we are free to discuss whatever we want.

We support the Vols, we hope for a win, we just have little confidence in the current administration.

Believe me us Grudenites, Negavols, whatever you want to call us can get on the Dooley train if he proves himself.

So far he has not proven himself a winner.

But let's go work like heck.

last I checked, none of us stand to financially gain from UT's play on the field. Therefore, why would we as fans need to treat it like a business. I don't pull for Microsoft, Exxon or Chrysler, so why would I treat a sport like a business. Our AD can and should do that, but we as fans need not.
