...this board would overreact to any outcome. Guys, this is reality and the only person to blame is the guy who had the head coaching position two years ago. It was amazing to look on this board after we were up 13-3 and see everyone emotionally high. Now it's just as amazing to see how down everyone is. This was expected, at least by me and most reasonable fans.

All you folks criticizing the coaching staff need to get some perspective of where this roster is at. Seriously. Our roster is honestly laughable for a Tennessee team. This season is going to be rough, deal with it. Wilcox is going to be a beast at DC and I think Chaney won't be too bad himself. We'll be fine down the road.

Finally, someone that has some since.

We WILL be fine, after this years recruiting class, expect higher goals next year.

Dooley wins again.

Exactly, As bad as i hate Saban he is the best coach in college football and the talent he inherited at Bama was far better than this group and he only managed a 6-6 season his 1st year. Give Dooley and the staff some time. He proved he can recruit after salvaging our class through the kiffin BS and I think with time he will prove he's a great coach too.

I'm behind Dooley 100%

this staff is scraping the bottom of the barrell with the roster they have.....can't blame them.....and that's the bad news....what I saw was pretty simple....D-line will get trampled and the O will be one dimensional. I find it hard to believe the level of talent has dropped as far as it has.....to judge Dooley this early is unfair....

To add to this....Dooley isn't Saban and it will take a little more time given the fact that Saban came back to college football and had already proven that he can win the NC. So it took him a lot less time to acquire talent that it might take Dooley. Dooley is our guy and I feel confident that we are on the right track just going to be a long year. This will give us a good chance to soak in what it feels like to be on the other side of the ball and enjoy being top dog here soon enough. A lot of spoiled babies that follow this team. (me included)

no I don't agree, we had some bad play calling in the first half, we could have been up 21 - 3. we have to be more balanced on offense, we have to learn how to throw over the middle of the field. the D in the second half was embarrassing. Bray should have played late in the game. And what the HELL is wrong with Janzen Jackson.

It's disappointing to see Tennessee football this low....I realize that it's going to take a few years before we are good again.....I guess it's just that I HATE to see my team at this low of a point....
