As fans how pumped are you when we play small schools?

Do you think our players will come out fired up vs FL and do you think this fan base will bring it and help get this team a win, when we play small schools our fan base feels Entitled and rarely cheers but will raise he// when things go wrong! WE CAN IMPACT GAMES AT NEYLAND! In 98 our fans went nuts but ESPN had us ranked high preseason and now things are not going the way the new age entitled punk generation thinks it should and they bash our players and coaches and I hate it and wish that they could just see that they have a job and it's to cheer and bring it on game day but they would rather get on here and put down our VOL FAMILY! THIS FAN BASE NEEDS PUNCHED IN THE FACE !

Florida is a "small" school? I assume you are referring to their 'manhood'..?

This fanbase always "brings it"....kinda like it did last year vs Oklahoma and the year before vs Florida. At the end of the day, it's the players and coaches that have to execute and win.

Exactly. I am with the mind set to wait until next week to judge this team. I understand those who are frustrated though. This team isn't handling their business like they should.

I'm pumped for a win anytime they take the field. I love a blow out and the opportunity to see others get playing time. Not happening much lately.

I could be wrong but most on here that are whining are not part of this generation you're referring too. Most are "grown" men. Baby boomers and gen x.

not pumped at all for these little, no name schools. UT needs to start scheduling bigger name schools---just pay them more money to come to knoxville.

I feel this way myself. I had to work this past Saturday...Had that been Florida, Georgia, Texas A&m, or Bama...I wouldn't have been there. Maybe the players just feel the same way. They are so hyped to get to Florida that the rest of these games just don't matter as much to them. It's sad but honestly...You can't totally fault them.

They looked their best against VT. A team they expected to have a game on their hands. App state caught them off guard. Ohio popped in between the biggest college football game of all time...and a game that makes our season branch one of two ways. The team just didn't have their head were it needed to be. Focus wasn't there and there is no excuse for it. Coach should have had them ready to go no matter the opponent.

I still think that we were holding back on the playbook extensively. I don't think they wanted to show their hand until Florida. After this Saturday I will eat crow if I am wrong. I still have a ton of faith in this team.
