As bad as this year has gone...

ky with 4 losses in sec play
us with 4 losses in sec play
uf with 4/5 losses in sec play...one being to sc
sc with 4 losses in sec play

could end us in a tie for 2nd place

This team is steamrolling toward possibly the worst year in UT football history. 4-8 is more likely. Butch already owns 3 or 4 of the worst beatings of all time. Might own worst season ever as well before he finally finishes robbing the UTAD of money, and impersonating a coach that knows what he's doing..

no, it doesn't work that way we lose the tie breakers and end up 4th. Of course Butch likes this as he claims both of his BigEast championships even though he finished 2nd and 3rd those years.

You guys act like we've never had multiple losses midway through the season before. 1988 0-6 start was steamrolling to the worst record ever.

Having 2 blowout losses and 2 last second losses isn't steamrolling toward anything except a disappointing season.

My guess is at least a loss to LSU with possibly one more loss.

As much as y'all want your "favorite" team to lose out, it is highly unlikely to happen

Not wishing ill will on the Vols. 6-6 is best case scenario and they'd have to fix a ton to do that.

This entire thread makes me sick! There was a time when hoping for second place in the east was UN-thinkable. We had our sights set on a Natty, and the SEC Championship-EVERY YEAR. Has jones and his fan boys degraded Tennessee so much, that the thought of placing second in the east would be a great day for UT? I'm about to puke...

But, OP is right. It's still possible.

What does that say about the rest of the SEC east?

Man this side of the conference needs to get its ish together.

Few of you must have suffered thru the 0-6 start year. A DJ lived on a billboard till we won.

And I could still have a great Monday night if Alexandra Daddario saddles up to the bar next to me.

No offensive touchdowns in 14 quarters, with six of those being played against UMass and a very poor USCe, and you still think that this team is only going to lose 2 more games. out of a 5 game stretch that includes 4 SEC opponents.:thud:
