As a UT fan, which is more difficult for you to stomach right now??

Bama football by far. I've enjoyed our resurgence in basketball lately, but it simply doesn't mean nearly as much as football to me. Not even close. Before UT got to being competitive, I didn't think about basketball or UT's struggles very much. Now that football sucks, it really bothers me. To me, Bama is our biggest rival and UK is the team that basically forfeits to us in football every year.

It depends upon where I am. When I lived about thirty miles from the Kentucky line and had to work with a bunch of Wildcat fans, it was Kentucky. When I lived in Birmingham and had to deal with Tide fans 24/7, it was Bama.

Now I live in Arkansas and it's really hard to hate the Hog fans. It may get easier if Petrino stays a few more years.

Petrino will never win anything significant there.

don't give a flying flip about basketball.
I started watching football in the mid 90's, and UT was 35-1 against other SEC teams (except Florida) for 5 years straight. ('95-'99) However, we were 1-4 against Florida.
On the other hand, Bama hasn't done squat up until 2008.

kensucky because it is basketball and their fans act like it is a sport that matters like football.

Alabama football or Kentucky basketball....which do you despise more?

Not even close. I'd prefer Alabama not be national champions, but I do think Saban got them there honestly.

I can't say that for Kenturkey basketball, the biggest cheaters in the history of the game. The only good thing is that I'm sure they'll eventually be forced to vacate all of Cal's "wins" from this season.

Kensucky...no doubt about it. I absolutely cannot stand Cousins! I would give anything to see someone slug him one in their last game.

Just the word "Alabama" is disgusting to me. My hatred of their football program is exponentially stronger than any other rivalry. I sure do hate UK bball though, especially with Calipari there now. But before he got there I hated Vandy and UK bball equally.

Easy question, Bama football is worse than UK basketball, Notre Dame, and the New York Yankees combined.

Anytime I see anything Bama, I cringe. Which is a lot lately considering all these "lifetime RTR, Bear Bryant is the greatest" fans are popping up everywhere.

Actually more bummed out about the state of UT football right now than I am disgusted by either Alabama football or Kentucky basketball.

But, in the spirit of the thread, I'll go with UK hoops since it's basketball season.

I have a passionate dislike for UK bball, much like my dislike for UF fball. Without a doubt, UK bball gets to me worse than Bama's title.I might throw up if Cousins + Co cut a net down, regional or titlegame.

Alabama football by far. At least we have a basketball team that can compete with UK on some level. I know last weekend was bad, but we did beat them once this year. God knows how long it'll be till we beat bama again. It's a series that tends to run in streaks, and given the events of the past few months, it's looking like it's about to be our turn to go through a long dry spell.

I know what you mean. I live in Winchester,TN and since the Bama won the NC there are more bama bumper stickers, t-shirts, hats, and flags than ive ever seen. My next door neighboor has big bama flag flying at his house

What's most difficult to stomach for me is that we might be a .500 football program for the next 3 years.
