As a UT Fan, sorry to say this but I hope most agree

Bless this man for he has true wisdom.......except he missed it 45-17...OU.:dance2:

BTW just noticed your D is giving up 30 pts a game for the past 8 games...but yet UF will only score 17? Come on now  Then factor in "Big game Bobs" past 4 BCS games :hmm:

17?
That would be remarkable since everybody they have played has scored more than that.
I don't see OU holding a healthy FL to 17.

FL 38
OU 31

I have more loyalty to my second alma mater than I do to the conference of my first one.

I don't like either one , and really don't care who wins.
But can't see the Gators losing with TT @ QB.
17 points? Not gonna happen.:no1:

As a UT fan and SEC FAN, I am sick and tired of riding the Gators shoulders when it comes to the NC for the SEC. To tell ya the cold hard truth, I hope the SEC burns and dies on Florida's shoulders just this once on Jan 8th. Go Boomer Sooners, Whoop Tebow's heisman losing ass, and I would love to see the cocky, arrogant Urban Meyer start crying along with Tebow and let get a reality check that they are not the s*** and make all those little phillipino kids cry also, F Tebow and the Gators, GO SOONERS!!!!! And no this is not because I hate Tebow because he has beaten us, I hate Tebow because of the way he is potrayed, for the last time, HE IS NOT THE GODSON OF THE SEC like they say and HE IS NOT THE BEST PLAYER IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL!!!!

Dang!!! Man ease up. Jealousy is oozeing from this. You gonna get so bashed dude. Those are the most stupid statements I ever read.:lolabove:

You honestly think OU will score 45 on UF?

Absolutely not. Okie has put up some tremendous point totals in the past five games. Props. But their conference is notoriously weak on D. I don't think they've seen a D of the likes of UF this entire season.

It's interesting to note that the Top 25 D rankings in DI include 4 SEC teams and 0 Big 12 teams.

My prediction is their power offense struggles against Florida's D and that FL will be able to put up a sufficient number of points on OK's 65th ranked D to win the game.

FL by 10+.

I don't like UF either, but I'll hold my nose and hope they win the game, for the SEC's sake.

As for Tim Tebow, he probably is the best player in college football right now, and it's not his fault that he's been ridiculously deified in the press.

If we'd beaten them this year, no one would care, even if UF still found its way into the national championship game.

what would be better... continuing the SEC's NC record and potentially adding to it in a few years, or enjoying watching Tebow fall...

ill take the first option.

Seems the VolNation is bitterly divided on this option.

Even tho the Volnation may be "bitterly divided", the fact still remains that we would like to keep the SEC as the dominant conference... and regardless of Kiffin's success, it WILL help us in the long run if it stays the course.

After watching some of OU's special teams im pretty confident UF will have the shorter field most of the night..they looked terrible against Texas.

If you go by the top 25 offensive teams you have just the reverse. No one in SEC land wants to talk about that.
The truth to the matter is up until Florida played Alabama the best offense either of those two teams played was Georgia......Yeah...#17 Georgia.

Sure I will..UF still has a highly ranked offense while playing much better D's than OU..do u really think OU could drop 60 in however many games they have in a row in the SEC? Id be surprised if they did it once.

Much better D's as in playing a bunch of teams who didn't have the ability to score? Any conference that has only a couple quarterbacks at most who are capable of scoring will make any D look better than it is.
I promise you had Florida played 5 of the top 8 offenses in the country as Oklahoma did their stats would look much different on defense.
I will confess I was wrong in one stat. I said the best offense Alabama and Florida had faced was #17 Georgia and I was wrong. it was actually #27 Florida State. Sadly Georgia was #29.:whistling::whistling:

And conversely the same could be said about the terrible D's OU played.

I would love to see the SEC win another NC. However, I have a hard time watching the title go to Gainesville. Plus, I had a cousin that went to UF, and I really do not like the guy. With Ohio St. it was easy to pull for the gators because buckeye fans are just as bad as gator fans. With that being said, go Sooners!

Wow...not me! I am an SEC girl (after of course being a Tennessee girl)! I could never see myself pulling for OU to me they are just as bad as OSU. I like Tebow especially for what he stands for. Here is to hoping that Bradford has a terrible night! :)
