We do not celebrate Christmas. We celebrate Jewish xmas which involves Chinese food and going to a movie. We have turned a holiday known as Channukah into a gift giving holiday when it is not outside of America so our kids do not feel left out this time of year with all the gift giving. Passover is supposed to be the gift giving holiday which is at the same time as easter. However, we are cheap so we just give gifts on Channukah these days in America the end. Bruce Pearl attends my synagogue in Knoxville, however he celebrates xmas with his kids who are raised both. the end. Happy Holidays

After your Chinese food, do you make it a special point to see Adam Sandler movies?

This brings memories of a Marine Corps buddy who just happened to be jewish. While stuck in Beruit one Christmas we were all sitting around swapping stories about our Christmas traditions. When it was his turn he wise cracked......My family loads up and goes to the mall to look at all the empty store shelves and then we sing 'what a friend we have in Jesus'.

Chinatown in Green Hills/Nashville was very crowded after the 1 o'clock movies on Christmas Day. I saw Charlie Wilson's War; however, I did order shellfish (s&s shrimp).

Easter not easter. I think most everyone on here knows that Jewish people do not celebrate Christmas.

Hail and well met, fellow member of the tribe. So you go to Heska Amuna too? I was Bar Mitzvahed there. Hit me up via a PM sometime and we'll play the Jewish Geography.

can Moses join the Piedmont Driving Club yet?
I have no clue. However, there are an abundance of country clubs in the Southeast that admit Jews, so that's not really a concern to me.

I think most savvy businessman recognize that exclusivity at the price of missing out on valuable connections is not a good policy. I may be woefully naive, however.

The topic about jews is not FUNNY. I had a uncle die at a prison camp, he fell out of a guard tower! No harm meant.
