The oline wasn't good saturday, but we have two points of reference at this time to make any judgement. I hope that Oklahoma is a world beater this season, with an incredible defense. we will need more tape to tell. I imagine they are somewhere in between.

Debord can fix this. His last outing as a QB coach (Fort Hayes State, 1985) was extremely successful. Crushed the NAIA division that season.

Great....my senior year in Highschool....I now have a kid who's a senior at UT. I'm comforted.

You are right, but I think Wilcox left on his own. I do not think Dooley wanted him gone.

True. All the coaches wanted as far away from Dooley as they could get after being a part of that 2 year train wreck.

But they started blitzing when they realized that our WRs were getting no separation. Both oline and wrs are to blame, but there are formations and plays in our offense to help this. Unfortunately they were not called on Saturday night.

Did anyone notice the part about knowing when the snap based on the motion? That is pathetic that we snap the ball based on when our motion man gets to certain spot every time to allow them to blitz like that.

If you count the amount of time that Dobbs held the ball before passing during the snag and curl plays that worked it was always less than 3 seconds, most times no more than 2.

All Shotgun all the Time is a **** offense that is only going to see frustration week after week.

And until we put Dobbs under center for 20+% of the snaps, and slide into a pistol formation occasionally, this is what its going to be....mediocrity!

How hard is it for this staff to call quick passes that help with the bad o line? It was said from A Wisconsin fan back when we hired ZA that his WR'S got worse under him. Mix it up, throw over the middle, put Dobbs under center. You know what insane is? Doing the same thing over and over expecting different results. This staff=Insane

I've been complaining about Azzani since the 2013 Vandy game. His days are numbered IMO.

Ditto KB. What's crazy is how many people on here were clamoring for him to be OC. Why????? His position group has by far been the most under achieving of the team, relative to their talent.

So we have these stud WR who cannot get separation, a JR QB who cannot throw the deep ball, an OL that cannot handle simple blitzes and an OC who has been coaching gym for the past 6 years calling plays.

What a recipe for winning.

Dobbs can throw it.They don't give him the time to throw it, and we he has time they drop it. All the articles and analysis of the game blame oline, coaching and wrs. Only the idiots on here keep saying it was he fault and that he can't pass.

Haha! That damn near sums her up. Which poster is gonna counter this?

Of course, you could go all Butch and essentially say, " hey, what do you guys expect...every player on team is barely 17 years old. 82.438% of our players haven't even had their wisdom teeth extracted yet."
