If I was from FL I would want to give us the death penalty too. The big orange train is picking up steam and we are going to roll them & they hired charlie weis (without his camcorder.) If you hand out the death penalty along his line of thinking, which seems to be schools with major vioations, they might as well cancel all schedules. He conveniently left off FSU, Central Florida, Alabama, Michigan, West virginia, Oklahoma, USC, and that's just the first few that came up on google.

He thinks Tennessee should get the DP because they let Bruce coach all year despite being under investigation.

Considering the school didn't technically pay him all year, I'd say this guy is a grade-A douchebag.

What a waste of ink and paper! A better article would be one on why NCAA will never hand down the death penalty ever again in any college sports after the way that SMU football was totally decimated in the 70's.

Surprised that he didn't throw that one in. Seriously, if he really believes that UT fired Bruce Pearl for getting destroyed in the 'AA game, he is beyond credibility.

An article like this makes one understand why they need to reinstitute corporal punishment at this guy's school.

Yeah he should look at the Gators. I am sure they do nothing wrong. Tennessee fired Bruce Pearl. I don't think we will be hit as hard now. If they are after Pearl for lying then they should throw the book at Tressel at Ohio State. He knew and still played his players all season. And he Lied also.

I wonder what punishment he would suggest for U of Florida for having 26 felons on the team during Meyer's term as HC?? Flowers?
