Article says Frank is a consultant...for now.

So, signs are certainly pointing to the notion that Frank is seriously toying with the idea of coming to Tennessee (if offered). How serious of a candidate is he for the Celtics gig if Doc retires/leaves? You have to imagine that it will either come down to that or money if he is offered - and if he isn't offered, it would have to come down to fear that he would jump ship, concerns over money, and concerns over recruiting (though it seems that some think he is proven here...but I'm not sure if 3 years is enough to really gauge that).

And my last season as a head coach in the NBA I started 0-19 and got canned. Just sayin.

And the coach that replaced him really did a good job of turning that team around because he lost 54 more games after Frank was gone to finish 12-70. Also if you google someone to bash them at least get the facts straight they lost 16 under him and 18 in a row before they won a game. Just sayin.

Might as well pick Allan Houston's brain too while you're at it ... certainly can't hurt.

I'm 100% convinced the whole "Frank is a consultant" is smoke and mirrors.

It probably is. I really do hope that we pull a coup and hire him. I think he would do very well here.

Just my opinion.

His hiring would truly be a home run. I think the rest of college basketball would take notice.

Umm... are you seriously suggesting that Jamie Dixon and Jay Wright are not as good as Pearl?
At 7 - 0, flying high, with both of their scalps, that would be a no.

At 19 - 15, and thrown in the ditch, humiliated by one's own lies, that would be a yes.
