Which has been the Achilles heel of this team.

I'd love nothing more than to run the ball 45 times straight at the heart of this defense while averaging about 4.5 yards a carry.

you and me both....i dont' think we have an O line that can do that though.......and if foster gets the majority of those carries............eh.

I agree with most of the above comments. However, doesn't it seem Stephens throws kinda side arm? He has had alot of knock downs. Bama (w/ a healthy Cody) are very solid and can collapse passing lanes. On slants and TE's squatting on routes in the middle, Stephens seems to have a lot of passes batted down. When I see that, I notice his throwing motion is more Bernie Kozar than Peyton.

He does throw a little sidearm but we've had passes batted down all year with Crompton having just as many or more than Stephens. At first I thought it was Crompton but it continuing with Stephens makes me think the OL isn't doing their job.

The only QB stats I care about are completion % on third downs and interceptions thrown.

I, for one, care a heck of a lot about TDs. He could go 10 of 37 with 5 TDs and I'd still be fine with it

I was just listening to local sports radio down here and it seems like both defenses will be coming at the game the same way. Ole Miss stopped (as much as possible) Alabama's run game (107 yards), forcing Wilson to win the game. We'll need to do that, play tight bump and run coverage on the receivers, and get lucky.

The same thing for Alabama on defense. They will try to shut down the run and force Stephens to win the game.

i like what i have seen so far. he has no turnovers, very few bad reads and isnt afraid to throw it deep. if the oline gives him a little more confidence and give some kind of rushing game, i think we can be huge in the 2nd half against bama.

just beat bama! give me something to cheer about since all the wins for UT this year have been on pay-per-view.
