Arthur Brown to sue CDD/called in to Sports Animal today

Somehow he expected the coaches to keep track of Bryce's living arrangements despite the fact he had quit the team.

I'm over the whole BB thing...I really don't care what Arthur Brown thinks or wants to do...

this kid is bad news. let him transfer. Aurthur brown just because his son has talent that he is entitled to not have to follow rules that all others follow. F him

:realmad:what a jerk !!! :lolabove: :lolabove: :lolabove: :lolabove::dance2: :dance2: :dance2: :realmad: :furious3: :furious3: :shaking2: :censored: :the_finger:

I understand what he was saying about being a parent and being concerned with the welfare of his boys but they chose the schools they "committed" to. Not sure if anyone really knows what that word means anymore. But I rly dont know what to believe cuz i've heard so many different things. I do agree w/ dooley's point about how players that want to transfer alot of times dont take into consideration how transferring affects the TEAM. Nowadays its all about me me me! If there's an extenuating circumstance (sickness in the family, etc) then I can understand that, but just b/c your coach left doesnt mean you should be able to go elsewhere w/o any consequence (scholarship release) imo. Oh and I wonder if Arthur knows Dooley used to be a lawyer?

If I were Bill Snyder, I would cut ties with this family NOW!! The father is just too over the top, and the man doesn't understand how bad he is hurting his own son's right now. Really feel bad for Bryce honestly.

I guess when Bryce or his daddy decide to be men and talk to CDD in person.

I thought it was childish of Dooley to deny the transfer, especially on the basis that Brown didn't talk to him more about it.

Under what legal basis can he win a lawsuit?

Maybe it's nonsense and won't happen. But, maybe his angle is some kind of defamation of character. Arthur has said in another interview that Dooley's press statements about what happened (who talked to who, when, about what, etc.) were not true.

I just hate that going into a big game that we have this as a distraction...maybe Dooley will use it to his advantage to bring the team closer together....us against the world mentality...who knows

thats crap im sorry. he is making this up so his kids can transfer...the ncaa wont be on their side if the kids just want to transfer so he makes up a general story about how he "feared for his kids life" yet would never say why... he is a dipp-**** and a classic expample of a overbaring parent. he views his kids as a meal ticket and wants to keep them under his control...

You don't give in to the kid laying in the floor of the supermarket kicking and screaming.

I think if Bryce Brown and family had acted as adults in the situation, we would not be having this conversation.

Maybe Brown can get Masoli's lawyer???

the timing of this is terrible, father seems like a real douche.
In what I saw last year Tauren Poole looked to be just as good, although I didnt see BB before the "injured hip" so glad he is gone. TP is a better teammate anyway.

Although I think DD should have granted him a release.

This is not a distraction to the team. To them, Bryce left the team in Jan. I don't think our current roster gives a flip about this.

yeah this is not worth all this crap.....

I admire your tenacity and consistency but blaming Hammy for Artie being a mouth-breather is... REACHING!

It's more about "hammering the Hambone" for bringing numbnutz in as our coach.

Now we have the NCAA and Arthur barging into our house..... and all the rest.

Yeah i was like "wow" when he said he feared for bryce's life. Thats a little over the top. If mean yeah its natural for a parent to be concerned (although im not sure he isnt just saying that), but kids gotta grow up sometime and coddling at home aint gonna do it. But its whatever. I liked Bryce but obviously there were some issues so I think we're better off w/o him.
Go Vols! Beat them Ducks!!!

This is one is easy -- it's called GOVERNMENT IMMUNITY. CDD, acting in his capacity as a government employee, cannot be personally sued except in very rare instances.

For those of you who are going to say that CDD, the football team, UT, etc. is not "the government", just ask Joe Paterno, who was not all too thrilled about the University having to disclose his salary. Government employee = immunity.

Kansas State should tell the Browns to get lost! I am glad CDD is not releasing the bozo! Go Vols!!!
