Talking about corners being great tacklers...

"It's all about heart and Art Evans, if you are listening I'm sorry, but you just don't have it. When you are out there playing with the big boys you gotta put on big boy britches. He's still in elementary school." -- Troy Fleming

What's this guy talking about? Evans from what I've seen doesn't seem to shy away from hitting people, he may not be the biggest guy out there but I don't think he's afraid to stick his nose in there and hit some people. I may be wrong but didn't he cause a fumble this year, maybe some other plays?

I would have to agree a little. Art is no push over DB, but I have been a little disappointed at times with some missed tackles. However, even EB misses a tackle now and then. Of course, he does it on purpose so that he doesn't have to show everybody up ALL of the time. Btw, what ever happened to Prentiss Wagner? He getting much meaningful playing time? If he is, I have missed it.

He caused the fumble in the GA game that EB ran back. The one everyone thought was an interception!!!

I think the only time that I've seen Wagner has been on special teams and possibly some mop-up duty.....I could be wrong about that though.

If he was soft..
1. He woulda quit by now like some(wouldn't have made it through camps)
2. He wouldn't be out there.

To Art and the rest of the team...Go out there and give Bama hell!

GO VOLS !!!

Ya, he went to BGA and was amazing in HS but never could seem to cut it at UT. Ended up playing on the Titans squad for a while solely because he was a local product, imo.

Troy should have been a fullback at UT but was too soft to block. Not skilled enough to be a TB. The cell phone thing was a total debacle. He should STFU because he has no clue about this current team.

So this Troy guy really doesn't seem to have any room to say things like he did...haha...Evans is making things happen, something that from what I gather Fleming didn't do very often. Beat Bama!!

Troy Fleming was Talented. He was one of our best Fullbacks ever. He was drafted by the Titans, and now plays for the Panthers.

Haha... the pros don't quite work that way. In addition, he was a solid, albeit not spectacular, player at UT. To say he "never could seem to cut it" is nonsense.

I do, however, disagree with his assessment of Art Evans.

If you're listening Art, don't listen to this has-been. He's doesn't know what he's talking about and needs to STFU. He wasn't talented enough to play TB and was decent FB that didn't like to block so if anyone needs to Man up its Troy Fleming. That call must have been important. What a jackass....

Anybody who took the field for Tennessee in that Peach Bowl against Maryland needs to STFU before he calls anybody on the current roster soft.
