I like both, the biggest sale on a tablet for me was not being chained to my computer if I wanted to do anything digital. You can take a tablet around and use like a sketch book/all mediums built in. I went with the 3rd gen iPad Pro for the cheapest access for top end performance and quality ( outside of Wacom). I free Lance from time to time, so it’s good enough to work on poster size files without struggling that much. There’s Cheaper tablets if you just want to fart around and doodle. Otherwise it’s been worth it for me.Since this thread is back up, does anyone have any opinions on sketching via tablet vs more traditional methods? I’ve played around briefly with an iPad Pro with the pencil and really enjoyed it. Wondering if it’s worth it to pick one up.
