It wasn't as clever as you might expect from a NW grad. Aside from that I don't think it was so bad. What else do they really have that they can lord over us, if not their academic credentials?

To be honest Northwestern is the last school I associate with "academic excellence"..which is a moot point on the football field. I usually think hideous purple uniforms when Northwestern is brought up which by the way is never by a fan because I've never seen one.

The fact that what comes to mind is football uniforms rather than academic prestige kind of proves the point

NW fan base is probably a little larger than Vandy's, since Chicago is bigger than Nashville. Not too worried about their fans or their team
