Bob Ryan is correct. For those who missed Around the Horn today, they mentioned the OTL episode with CLK. Mariotti(sp?) and Cowlishaw both burned CLK about the voilation. Ryan chimed in and set it straight. He emphasized that this incident is minor and basically said that it does not matter. The other two made it seem like CLK is so out of control that Tennessee will be under investigation by the NCAA next year. They just sounded like drama queens to me.

I know this is another thread about the media's overreaction to just another minor violation so merge if necessary.

Mariotti is a drama queen and Cowlishaw is a LSU fan.

What did Woody Paige have to say?

It was funny because one of the two, Mariotti or Cowlishaw, said he's already up to 6 minor violations. Up to 6? Oh no, we are surely gonna be on probation for sure.

My booty call...I kid. Honestly I don't know. I forget where I found the pic. I added the T and changed the shirt color. The adjustments made her look 100x better IMO.:)

91-3 Florida......That's what I heard.....If I was a football player or coach at UT I would be chomping at the bit to get at the football schedule this season....

Can somebody tell me how many of these secondary violations UT had last year under Fulmer......Where can you find those secondary violation numbers of other Southeastern Conference members??...Of other major conference members??....Am I missing something??...Why is this plastered all over every sports cast I see ??...Is Tennessee the ONLY school that does this??

Don't downplay this too much... The media can create the momentum that leads to a deeper investigation.

They may especially dislike it if the media portrays Kiffin as snubbing his nose at them.

This year is going to be an epic blowout. Next year we will have a good chance of winning. It's just called being realistic.

Hey guys, in case the media and idiots across message boards haven't made this obvious yet; Urban Meyer is a really nice guy who has let teams off easy the last few years...He's never ran up the score. When he put 40 on teams, he actually could have put up 70-100 because his tears killed Chuck Norris. If it was up to Urban, he would only put 30 points on teams, but he can't let up on the gas that far.

Are you the authentic, rubber slangin' 6'9 bball player?

Of course I'm the 6'9" hot wheel backpack carrying, high sock wearing, inhaler breathing, bball player who actually slangs with a rubber.

EDIT: Not really for the overly gullible readers.

ESPN is so stupid. They think they're bashing us and they don't even know that they're giving us basically free publicity and getting recruits thinking about Tennessee.

I guess he was just being nice last year. Like he did at Miami, when they were only ahead 9-3 going into the 4th quarter, and he called a timeout with 12 seconds left to kick a field goal. Yea he's a real sweetheart.

i cant remember where i saw it, but i was reading something that i think said UGA has 5 or 6 violations already. it may have been bama, i dont remember, but its irrelevant. either of these two schools have "respectable" and veteraned coaches and therefore arent getting any publicity.

according to CLK, all the better for us i guess :dunno::eek:k:

That's actually not that unrealistic. I expect Florida to score 70+ honestly. They're not going to take the foot off the gas.

Huh? Depends on which UT and which FL shows up. You act like there's no chance.....Ole Miss fans might show you a different side of things....

Why even play? Let's just mail it in. I hope our players don't view the season the same way you do....or is this just more Tebow worship? :cray:

Yeah it very much depends on who shows up, et. al

But based on what we've got, crompton would have to have performed a complete 180 for us to win....cause we're not going to beat florida if the Offense can't score like last year...
