Arkansas has sliced up most everyone they have played, including top 5 Ole Miss.

Yes, they were dominated by ND, which forced removal of head coach and then Bobby Petrino fired 3 defensive coaches and hired new.

Petrino is an offensive wizard, Green is a really good QB. Having new defensive staff and new defensive schemes provided no ability to game plan around what they had in store.

Yes, the Vols are very weak against the run and contain. There is nothing they can do about it until they bring in more interior defensive line size and depth and more speed at LB.

Petrino will end up beating some teams they weren't predicted to beat, I hope they do.

Sure thing chief: Georgia sliced up the defense, Mississippi State sliced up the defense, Syracuse sliced up the defense, Arkansas sliced up the defense, and Alabama will do the same next week. What could be the common denominator? Last year with a supposed “great” defense couldn’t consistently get off the field against competent offenses regardless of injuries this season. The offense has to perform at nearly an exceptional level in order to have a chance to win and that is not good.

They have a pretty good running back also.

The Carr kid made me a ND believer until I realized how bad Arkansas defense was. He was so consistent and hitting crazy throws. Plus, they have the best back in the country. Arky just gave up. That's why it was frustrating to see Heupel go so conservative because Arkansas has the tendency to give up. Oh well a wins a win. Green is amazing and their offense is the best we've faced all year imo

Not necessarily. On the road, at Miss State, the defense kept us in the game while the offense sputtered. Without the 2 defensive TDs, Miss State routes us.

You’re being too far to the other end of the spectrum. While coming down on him for being too far at the other end.

We won against MSU because of defense (2 Defensive TDs)
We caused 3 TOs and had 5 sacks to beat Arkansas.

We haven’t had a great defense since 1998, and even they had lapses. This defense is still making plays.

Get out of the muck, dude.
