None of that means UT isn't a step over SC. Over 10.5 seasons Spurrier won 1 east title when the East was down so bad that 9 wins won it. He averaged 8 wins per season in a little over a decade and was 2-4 in year 11 when he limped away.

Holtz was 33-37 there. That's the best two HOF coaches could do over a 17 year period. 1 SEC east title.

You can't convince me from a facilities, recruiting and brand standpoint that we aren't notches over SC. We've had poor leadership no doubt, but the right guy could win big here.

Happens when you pay your coaches low dollar, coaching searches get down the list pretty fast.
SEC coordinators or mid major coaches that have a couple winning seasons in a row are the only option at our price point. That's closer to fact than fantasy.

Right before the season started we literally gave Gump an extension AND a raise ANDDDDD told every other coach and staff member at UT to take a pay cut

He's royalty here. Fulmer is in love. Gump says all the right things with a sexy southern accent.

Fans need to run this guy outta here cause the bigwigs definitely won't do it. He will be here for a very long time if we don't riot or something.

The fact we asked everyone to take a pay cut just so we can extend this loser and give him a raise makes me sick!!

Yes. They have a lot to do with the downfall of one of college football's most respected programs. They also have the wins to back it up. That's when the people who run the place actually cared about winning though. Different day and age now.

Tennessee football is a joke, I don’t care who the coach is, it seems like nobody can win here. It’s snake bit, bad karma, promising recruits who turn out to be duds. Every time Florida gets a new coach, they whip out ass. Now Arkansas is doing it and if we played Ole miss, they’d mop the floor with us with their new coach and lack of talent. It’s old, tired and I’m done with it. Watched Tennessee football for 35 years and honestly forgot that there was a game that was suppose to be played today but got canceled.

South Carolina's last 3 hires were Holtz, Spurrier, and Muschamp.

Our last 3 have been Dooley, Butch, and Pruitt.

Easily SC made the 2 best hires and Muschamp isnt any much worse than any of our last 3 hires...

You literally just said Sc won the sec east when the league was down.

Why didnt win it then?

We were even worse.

Since 2001 they are basically as good as us if not better and have more sec east titles.

You can win just as easily at sc as you can ut at this point.

You guys gotta come to grips that we are perpetual cellar dwellers now.
